Quick Checklist

We want the same thing that you want. We want your graphic files to print correctly first time and look like you meant them to. Please make sure that you check all the elements on this list to ensure that your products can be printed in the highest quality

• Type is legible and crisp 
• Page layout is correct
• Set bleed and margin
• Artwork mathes the specified dimensions.
• All link files, images, and fonts are placed in separate folders.
• Colors is in CMYK Mode

Set Bleed & Margin 

Bleed is the portion of the products that will be trimmed off when it is cut to the final size.

Please ensure that your files have minimum 3mm bleed and 5mm safety margin. This is important, as during the cutting process. it may happen that the cutting cross a little bit too far in (which is why you need a safery margin) or too far out (which is why you need bleed). The safety margin will ensure, that no important content is cut out of the artwork. The bleed will ensure, that will be no white border at the edge of the printing products.

Color Mode

Print previews are not a safe and sure measuring tool for color accuracy. Colors on the file might be effected by monitor calibration, screen resolution and lighting, just to name a few. Many pantone colors show a marked color shift when converted to four colors process.

When saving your file, ensure that you have set the artwork up in the correct color mode for the product that you are ordering. Most products are produced in CMYK process color. If RGB color are found they will be automatically convert to CMYK mode and overall color space will change.

For one, two or three color jobs printed in Pantone Spot Color, make sure your colors are specified as spot color and they separate correctly. You can test this by printing separations on your laser printer.

Image Resolutions

Remember to check the requirement for the sesolution of images, as it may vary for different products. For CMYK process printing, your color images should be set to 300dpi at 100% of actual size for quality offset reproduction.

Images can be basically one of two types:- bitmap images and vector images. Bitmap images are stored as a series of tiny dots call pixels. These pixels are arranged together in a pattern to form an image. When you zoom into the image you will eventually start seeing the individual pixels that make up the image. In comparison, Vector images are not based on pixels, but on mathematical formulas that draw certain lines and curves. When you zoom into a vector image, it is just as sharp as the image in original size. To ensure the sharpness of bitmap images you should check the resolution(DPI) of the bitmap images in the artwork or there will be a substantial drop in the iamge quality.

• All images and pictures should be 300 dpi.
• Rasterized text or logos should be 1200 dpi.
• Screen values should be between 133 lpi and 150 lpi.

File Saved

Remember to check that you are saving your file in the correct format for the product that you are ordering.  The best format for submitting print-ready is PDF. Please save and upload your artwork file as PDF Format.

Make sure that no elements are set on overprint.

Digital Proofs

We provide PDF files as electronic soft proofs. These digital proofs intend to show you the layout and design elements of your job, but cannot be a guarantee of color accuracy. If color accuracy is of extreme importance to you, please ask for a hard copy proof. Scan all transparencies and line art at 100% of final size unless data size is prohibitive.
